CIAF '25 ART FAIR SHOWCASE EXHIBITORS
The CIAF Art Fair Showcase will transform the entire Tanks Arts Centre precinct into a vibrant hub responding to the call to action and 2025 theme, 'Pay Attention!'. The showcase urges attendees to look beyond the surface, to truly see and engage with cultural storytelling and artistic expression of the works on display.
This year’s showcase features groundbreaking commercial galleries and an impressive lineup of new exhibitors, offering a diverse and thought-provoking collection of works. Visitors can immerse themselves in wearable art, black-and-white photography, traditional sculpture, and contemporary activist pieces—each carrying the powerful voices of First Nations artists.
As an ethical marketplace, the CIAF Art Fair ensures that every purchase directly supports First Nations communities, respects cultural ownership, and fosters sustainable artistic practices.
With over 30 exhibitors spanning art centres, commercial galleries, and independent creators from across Queensland, Tanks 3 and 4 will come alive with stories of resilience, identity, and culture. Exhibitor talks are highly recommended, providing rare opportunities to connect directly with artists, hear their inspirations, and deepen one’s understanding of their works.
More than an exhibition, the CIAF Art Fair Showcase is an invitation to Pay Attention! — to the traditional and contemporary expressions of First Nations artists. It is a space for reflection, connection, and celebration of the voices shaping Queensland’s First Nations art.
