CIAF 2017 is July 14-16, with Opening Night celebrations, Thursday 13 July.

How do I get a CIAF program?

Once the 2017 Program is released, the best way to get all the information on events is here at the CIAF website. Also be sure to follow CIAF on Facebook as this social media is regularly updated with announcements, news and previews.

Please note that CIAF hardcopy programs are available at tourist information centres, cafes and major hotels from Port Douglas to Townsville. If you would like a hard copy of the program, please contact Wanda on 07 4050 7712 or wanda@ciaf.com.au

Can I perform at CIAF?

The Artistic Director decides upon the theme of each CIAF, and the performance programs are curated events that express that vision. Please refer to 'Participate' section on website.

Where will I park to attend CIAF events?

There will be parking at the Cairns Cruise Liner Terminal (CCLT) during CIAF events, as well as nearby street parking along Wharf, Grafton, Lake and Abbott streets. Cairns City Council parking fees apply to street parking 8:30am-5pm Mon-Fri and 8:30-11:30am Sat.  Alternatively there is underground and parking lot parking at the Pier for an hourly rate daily.

Food and beverage vendors will be located on the CCLT grounds with 'EAT STREET', offering a wide range of international and local food, from snacks to full meals and excellent coffee.

Yes, except for alcoholic beverages, you can bring your own food and drink to all free events at CIAF held at the CCLT. Ticketed events vary. Opening Night has food included in the ticket price and a licensed cash bar is on site.  The CIAF fashion performance does not include food in the ticket price; cash bar will be on site.
