Media Accreditation Application
Media accreditation for CIAF 2019 is open.
Media accreditation is required for all media personnel to gain access to specific events, conduct interviews and/or film or photograph events during CIAF.
Should you receive media accreditation for an event to which you are not able to attend, please notify CIAF 24 hours in advance prior to the scheduled event or performance. Media accreditation is not transferable.
Members of the media are required to wear media identification at all times at both ticketed and non-ticketed CIAF events. CIAF security personnel will ask for media identification at all events.
Terms and Conditions
Media accreditation is required to gain access to CIAF core and satellite events, and to interview, photograph or video artists and/or artwork.
Media accreditation is not an all access pass. Members of the media are required to apply listing the specific events to be covered.
CIAF defines media as: journalists, photographers, editors or producers who have a verified and appropriate editorial assignment for coverage of CIAF for a specific media outlet, that generates original articles, photographs, reviews or online content.
Advertising personnel, marketing and sales associates, runners, personal assistants and other similar support staff employed by media outlets do not qualify for CIAF media accreditation. Students do not qualify for media accreditation, and those wishing to cover CIAF for an assignment are required to send any enquiries to CIAF.
Members of the media must be on CIAF’s media list in order to receive crucial information about the line-up, breaking news and other time-sensitive information.
Inclusion on the CIAF media list does not guarantee a receipt of media accreditation.
If you were successful in receiving media accreditation for CIAF in previous years, you are not automatically qualified for accreditation and are required to reapply.
Freelance journalists without a specific assignment from a media outlet will not be considered for media accreditation.
