About
Francoise Lane is a proud descendant of the Meriam and Kaurareg people, drawing inspiration from her grandparents, mother, and family who lived at the Point on Kerriri—a place of deep cultural connection. Although she no longer lives there, time spent on Country walking the reef, exploring the lagoon, and staying in the family home continues to inform her practice.
Francoise Lane's Sea Garden Collection is inspired by these experiences, reflecting the colours of coral, the patterns of the reef, and the flowing movement of Island dress. Featuring dropped hems, puffed sleeves, and artisan detailing, the collection combines timeless design with care for Country, using digital printing and fabric offcuts to create accessories that celebrate connection, sustainability, and Island identity.
