Partner with CIAF
Since its inception in 2009, CIAF has welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors to Tropical North Queensland, creating sustained cultural, professional, and economic opportunities for First Nations artists, designers, and creative practitioners.
CIAF operates as more than an annual event. Alongside the flagship Art Fair and Fashion program, we deliver commissioning, exhibitions, professional development, outreach and industry engagement initiatives that connect artists with audiences, markets and institutions in Australia and internationally.
Our strategic focus is centred on:
- Expanding platforms for First Nations artists and designers to present work at scale
- Delivering ethical, culturally grounded experiences for audiences and communities
- Growing national and international market pathways for Queensland artists
- Ensuring CIAF remains a strong, relevant and sustainable First Nations–led organisation
This work is made possible through long-term, values-aligned partnerships. CIAF collaborates with organisations across corporate, government, philanthropic and cultural sectors (many of whom have supported the organisation over multiple years) to deliver programs with genuine impact.
Partnerships with CIAF offer meaningful engagement with First Nations creative leadership, strong regional and national visibility, and alignment with a respected cultural organisation operating at the intersection of art, fashion, community and industry.

Walk With Us
"As CIAF continues its journey at the Tanks Arts Centre in Gimuy/Cairns, I invite you to walk with us at a moment when Queensland is stepping onto the world stage, and when Aboriginal & Zenadth Kes/Torres Strait Islander artists and storytellers are integral to how our story is shared. CIAF exists so artists are seen, supported and respected; so culture is held with care and practiced with integrity; and so creative work can open real opportunities for employment, training, enterprise and professional growth across our regions. Every partnership deepens connection to Culture and Country, creates ethical pathways into national and international markets, and strengthens confidence and continuity for artists and communities across Queensland. When you support CIAF, you are investing in people and in future possibilities, helping create a space where creative excellence is protected, cultural knowledge is honoured, and lasting impact is built. We welcome you to walk alongside us with care, respect and purpose as we shape something enduring together.”
Dr Bianca Beetson, CIAF Chair
Our Funders, Sponsors & Partners
CIAF is immensely appreciative of the continued support shown to us by our supporters. We also want to congratulate all our sponsors, partners and funders on their ethical approach to reconciliation and support of the growth of Queensland's First Nations art sector.
