Sonia Pallett

Sonia Pallett is an Aboriginal jewellery artist whose practice celebrates culture through contemporary jewellery design. Drawing on Aboriginal symbols and carefully selected gemstones, each piece tells a story that reflects connection to Country, identity, and culture.

Sonia's family is from Kooma Country in south-west Queensland, near Cunnamulla, and she was born and raised on Wiradjuri Country in New South Wales. She has created jewellery over many years, including the release of her Symbols Collection, with many pieces named in Wiradjuri language. Through her practice, Sonia shares and celebrates Aboriginal culture while encouraging a deeper understanding and appreciation of its enduring significance.
