Wujal Wujal 'Bana Yirriji'

Bana Yirriji Art Centre, operated by Council in conjunction with the Wujal Wujal community, supports a strong collective of Eastern Kuku Yalanji artists whose practice is grounded in cultural knowledge, language and connection to Country. Artists continue to maintain and develop their creative practice through painting and craft, drawing on the natural landscape and living cultural traditions of the region.
