Art Class EOI

CIAF invites artists, creatives and facilitators to submit an Expression of Interest to deliver an Art Class as part of the 2027 Cairns Indigenous Art Fair program.

We welcome proposals for hands-on, creative and participatory experiences that invite audiences to engage with an artist’s practice, learn new skills and explore different materials, techniques and creative approaches.

Proposals may include established workshops, new or experimental ideas, demonstrations, or opportunities for participants to create alongside the facilitating artist.

Whether you are a returning performer or new to the CIAF community, we want to hear from you.

If you have never exhibited with CIAF before, we particularly encourage you to apply. This is an opportunity to introduce your practice or organisation, share your work and tell us about the work, artists or exhibition you are proposing for the 2027 CIAF Program.

We look forward to discovering new work, welcoming returning performers and bringing together a diverse range of First Nations artists, practices and perspectives from across Queensland and the Torres Strait.
