Are you an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander fashion designer/wearable art maker from Queensland? Then we want to hear from you in expressing your interest to be part of 2023's CIAF Fashion Performance: Woven.

Returning in 2023, the CIAF Fashion Performance will once again showcase the ingenious designs and styles of some of Queensland's most talented Indigenous designers. The annual Fashion Performance also features unique choreography and storytelling and provides a platform for Indigenous models to gain industry-standard experience.

Titled 'Woven', this year's theme encourages designers to weave into their works their sense of sovereignty, their stories and worldviews, as well as weaving in a myriad of colours, unique cuts and textural fabrics. Designer's are also encouraged to use their designs as a vehicle for sharing and educating the viewers on issues which matter to them. CIAF is looking for both, or a combination of, textiles garments and multimedia wearable art—as well as handmade accessories.

While inclusion in the CIAF Fashion Performance: Woven is competitive, we encourage you all to apply! For more information, please download the EOI Form. Be sure to submit your completed EOI Form by close of business, February 10.
