Shavi is a senior manager at one of Australia’s top accounting and advisory firms where he provides corporate governance advice and support to Indigenous Corporations throughout Australia.
Prior to this he was a banker with over 20 years’ experience, working with ANZ and NAB.
Shavi has worked with Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander organisations in Far North QLD including the Torres Strait for many years and has a conviction that Indigenous business is emerging as a major player in the Australian economy. He is focused on the financial stability and growth of CIAF and is the chair of CIAF’s Audit and Risk Committee.
Shavi has a keen interest in the Not for Profit sector and has many years of experience as a board member of various not for profit organisations.
